Flow: being absorbed in what you do
In short: Flow is a state of complete immersion in an activity in which time and self fade into the background. The psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi described it. It arises when demand and skill are in balance.
In more detail: If the task is too easy, boredom arises; if too hard, anxiety or overwhelm. In between lies the flow channel.
