HTTP 308 Permanent Redirect
In short: Permanent redirect in which method and body stay unchanged.
In more detail: The counterpart of 301 that preserves the method: a POST stays a POST. Search engines adopt the new address and browsers may remember the redirect permanently.

- An API endpoint has moved and clients should keep sending POST.

What you can do
- As a user there is nothing to do.
- Operators: redirect old addresses consistently to the new ones and adjust internal links.
