In short: The page is temporarily available at a different address.

In more detail: Unlike 301, the redirect only applies for a while. Typical after login or on maintenance pages.

Possible causes

• Login redirects to another page.
• Temporary redirect during maintenance or A/B tests.

Solutions

1. Normally do nothing, the browser follows automatically.
2. For an endless loop see ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.
3. Delete the site’s cookies if login hangs.
