Retraining: basics
In short: Retraining makes it possible to gain a recognised qualification in a completely new occupation, usually shorter than regular vocational training. It is aimed mainly at people who can no longer or no longer want to work in their previous occupation.
In more detail: Retraining is often funded by the employment agency or the German pension insurance.
