Connecting Bluetooth and headphones

In short: Bluetooth connects devices wirelessly over short distances, such as headphones, speakers or a mouse. Pair once, then they usually connect by themselves.

In more detail: When pairing, two devices exchange a key. The accessory must be in pairing mode, usually by long-pressing the Bluetooth button.

In Depth

  • Pairing: Put the accessory in pairing mode → Settings → Bluetooth → add device → choose the device.
  • Does not connect: Switch Bluetooth off and on, remove the device and pair again, charge the battery.
  • Sound comes from the wrong device: Choose the output device in the sound settings.
  • Range: About 10 metres, walls weaken the signal.
  • Security: Switch Bluetooth off when not in use, pair only known devices.
  • Delay: For games and video a wired connection can be better.
