HTTP 429 Too Many Requests

In short: You sent too many requests in a short time (rate limit).

In more detail: The server protects itself against overload and abuse.

Possible causes

• Too fast repetitions or loops in a script.
• Shared IP with many users.

Solutions

1. Wait briefly, observe the Retry-After header.
2. Bundle requests, cache them and work with pauses (exponential backoff).
3. When using an API apply for a higher quota.
