OLED
In short: OLED (organic light emitting diode) is a display technology in which every pixel emits light itself.
In more detail: Organic layers emit light as soon as current flows. No backlight is needed, black pixels stay completely off.

Advantages
Perfect black, high contrast, fast response time, very thin and bendable displays.
Disadvantages
Burn-in with long-static images, limited peak brightness, higher price.
Use
