Doxxing
In short: Doxxing is publishing a person’s personal data (address, phone number, employer) against their will.
In more detail: The word comes from “docs” (documents). The aim is intimidation, harassment or revenge.

Law in Germany
Since 2021, “endangering dissemination of personal data” under § 126a StGB is punishable. Data protection law and personality rights apply in addition.
Protection
Share little private information publicly, separate accounts, check data access requests at retailers, if affected secure evidence, report to the platform, file a complaint. See personal data.
