eIDAS
In short: eIDAS is the EU regulation on electronic identification and trust services.
In more detail: It governs electronic signatures, seals, time stamps and the mutual recognition of digital IDs in the EU. The revised version (eIDAS 2.0) introduces a European digital identity wallet.
